Sunday Heart Breathing from Lynz x

Good morning to you!

welcome to my first love letter

I prefer the phrase heart-breathing

these little whispers that spill out onto the page directly from the heart

Isn’t it sweet?

knowing I’m writing a love letter to you all make me smile from the corners of my heart

When was the last time you wrote one? or was it a love text?

It makes me think of the simple joys in life

takes me back to those moments in in my past when my heart was so full of love

it would have been a boy, an animal or a teddy (I always had a favourite)

As a child I used to write love notes to my MUM

leaving them around the house, under pillows

Now, as an adult I wonder how she felt finding my little notes

perhaps she was mindlessly walking around worrying about the adult things we worry about

dealing with the difficult emotions we deal with

I wonder how it made her feel

to be stopped in her tracks, to be told how wonderful and appreciated she was

Don’t think I was perfect, there were a lot of sorry notes too - I was a little sod

This is my intentions with these emails

to connect to with you from my heart to yours

in the hope that if you’re caught up in something you see my heart breathings drop into your inbox and smile a warm hearted smile

perhaps you even come back to them during the week and at times you need them

Life feels so special and valuable when we live more whole heartedly, don’t you think?

I wrote a poem this week that I thought might be nice to share

Today I am going to write a hand written heart-breathing to someone special and post it through their door. Just a few words to let them know they are valued. Would you join me in doing the same?

It will be just like the old days….

if you do send one please reply to this email and let me know? I’d love to hear from you!

I really feel that it’s the simple, little, thoughtful things we do in our everyday life that have the biggest impact on our wellbeing

We can have self-care bubble baths, yoga practices [ ] insert your activity here but sometimes we forget that love fro self and others is a quality of the heart and not a thing we do

It’s a whisper of I love you, a hug, a smile, a connection to ourselves and others that often happens spontaneously, from nowhere

like finding a note under your pillow

I’m signing off now as my 18 year old son is singing “I need a sausage cob” from his bedroom

it’s our Sunday morning tradition

another simple ritual that warms my heart

he will carry the tradition on when he moves out, just as I have from my childhood.

Do you have them?

Before I go I wanted to invite you to join me over on instagram

I share my poetry and live 7-minute meditations there every Tuesday - Friday

Until next week my friend

May your week be filled with blessing and moments of spontaneous love!

Good morning lovely human, It’s coffee and waffle time again. I swear, the older I get, the more time develops a lead foot. Grab a brew, get comfy, and let’s have a few minutes together. Roll your shoulders a few times. Nod your head in slow motion...lift your gaze on the way up, tuck your chin back and in on the way down. Add the secret ingredient: inhale up, exhale down. Now, do the same with a ‘NO’ motion (we’re coming back to this soon). Long, steady breaths. Slow movements. Use your...

Hello lovely human, Grab a brew… and before we go any further, let’s take a few slow, steady breaths together. Deep breath in through the nose… Slow breath out… Repeat… in. Now, a slower breath out. One more… In… hold it for a heartbeat or three. Now… sigh it out through the mouth. Great stuff...let's continue. I started in the wellness world over 17 years ago. After a few stressful years of running kitchens, the party lifestyle… followed by having my first child… something in me needed to...

Hi lovely human, I think the weather is teasing us....yes? I felt spring in the air yesterday and now...meh! I've walked to the studio a couple of times this week and my head feels a lot clearer - I do struggle a bit by the end of Feb and am itching to get back out and about. I hope you have been ok over the winter months - maybe you love the cozy-ness, or are like me...itching for out-side-ness! Today is just a quick studio update for the month ahead, so you know what’s on, what’s new, and...
